Privacy

What this site collects

  • No account, no tracking, no analytics. The site stores nothing in your browser except one technical cookie.
  • One technical cookie. lab_session lets the labs load their data and limits how often one visitor can call it. It holds a random session number, lasts two hours, is never shared and is not used to follow you. Being strictly necessary, it needs no consent.
  • Server logs. Like any web server, ours records each request (address, time, page or endpoint, browser) to keep the service running and to stop abuse. Logs are not shared.
  • Your searches. What you type in a lab (airports, a place, a company name) is sent to the Argos API to answer it, and the answer may be cached. It is not linked to you.
  • Your position, only if you ask. "Near me" asks your browser for your position, sends the coordinates with that one search and keeps nothing else.
  • The request form. It stores nothing: it opens your own mail app, and we receive only the email you choose to send.

Outside services your browser reaches

  • OpenStreetMap serves the map tiles in the labs; they receive your IP address with each tile.
  • Google Fonts serves the typefaces; Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
  • Image hosts of the sources (film posters, resort and destination photos) receive your IP address when an image is shown.
  • Links you follow to airlines, cinemas, ticketing or reseller sites take you to their own privacy terms.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted, by writing to the contact above. You may also complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

Using the labs

The labs are demonstrations for people visiting this site. Their /apollon endpoints only answer this site's pages and are not an API: do not call them from another app, script or service. To build on Argos, request access to the API. We may block any address that uses the labs' endpoints otherwise.

About the data shown

Argos reads pages and feeds that sources publish openly and reformats them. Prices, showtimes and availability can change at the source at any time: check them on the source's site before you book or buy. Names and trademarks belong to their owners.
